As I'm sure you are probably aware, I'm running in the Dublin Marathon next month for a brilliant new charity called The Golden Oldies. They provide the elderly with a regular, fun, social opportunity and lift their spirits through the power of song. 

These sessions are the high point in the week for a lot of the Golden Generation and they really makes a difference. 

Training has been going exceptionally well, 5 days a week and both Bo (our dog) and I have shed a few pounds but don't worry there is still plenty left in reserve. This is my first and probably last attempt at such a ridiculous distance and so I promise not to be back pestering you on a yearly basis.
