Story

Senior men's 1st Team coach Aiden Taylor and fellow players George Hamblin and Tom Richards are joining up with Senior Committee member John Dobson to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. The total walking distance is 23 miles and the total ascent is 3064 metres.

All funds raised will go towards the construction of a Fitness and Wellbeing Suite that will adjoin the main clubhouse. The Suite will benefit not only the club but the local community at large. The suite will consist of a gym, physio space and a private wellbeing room. This project has already had a very generous donation pledge from the Mario Curtis Foundation and once completed will be a perfect place to relax and unwind or to work on your fitness. In addition, the wellbeing room will provide a much needed private location to support those who have any mental health concerns and want to talk privately to a suitably trained person. Donations to support this tremendous initiative can be made via the link to our Just Giving page.

Thank you in advance for your support and for backing the lads.
