A class mate of my 6 year old son has recently been diagnosed with and treated for Cancer at Sheffield Children's Hospital. Thankfully she is now in remission and throughout has been incredibly brave. Both my kids have also been treated at Sheffield over the last few years (not for anything as serious as Cancer luckily) and the hospital were fantastic with them both.

So, pay back time. On Sunday 8th November, I am taking part in the "Hair off fund raiser" organised by Sharon Sellers. Along with a load of other Dad's, I am having my legs waxed.......if I can raise enough money then i going some of the others and get my head shaved!!! 

The least I can do is help out a bit - and if you can sponsor me a little (or a lot!!!) you could do your bit too.

Update - 16/10/09  - Just a quick thanks to everyone who has already sponsored me and helped me to get to £180. Sunday was a great day and the legs are really smooth.....and I actually quite enjoyed it!!

Grace was a superstar on the day, and because I didn't get to the £250 on the day I've decided that I'm going to join Graham Mickey on Thursday 26th and have my hair shaved off as well!!

I've been offered a few more sponsors if I get the head done and I'm almost there to reach the £250 which i think will add to the £3000+ that has already been raised for Grace. If you haven't already sponsored me then you have another chance.
