Walkabout bike ride from Liverpool to Manchester · 19 July 2014

Story

Walkabout are putting down the pints and getting on the bikes to raise money for our Charity pledge this year as part of our brand Citizenship agenda.14 venues across the Midlands and North are hoping to raise £38,500 this year for Charity, with £30,500 of that for Chorf - Christopher Hardman Osteosarcoma.

CHORF was set up by family and friends in memory of Christopher Hardman (aged 15) who lost his life to Osteosarcoma  (a rare form of Bone Cancer which affects teenagers) in October 2004.

Various events have taken place to raise funds to research Osteosarcoma in the hope that one day, we might find a cure and prevent other teenagers losing their lives from this deadly disease.  CHORF has raised in excess of  £150,000.00 since it was founded in 2004 and as a result of our fundraising, we are pleased to confirm that medical research is now underway. We work in partnership with www.bonecancerresearch.org.uk.

As well as Chorf individuals are riding for other charities such as Wolverhampton Mayoral charities and Niamhs next step.

Doing this bike ride will get us one step closer to reaching the target!! Feel free to come watch us struggle :).

Would be very grateful if you could help us get closer to our target
