Forth Bridge Abseil 2017 for Crossreach · 28 May 2017 ·

Story

Not satisfied with the thrill of the General Assembly the three FORMERS -

  • John Chalmers - Former Principal Clerk
  • Russell Barr - Former Moderator
  • Peter Bailey - Former Chief Executive of CrossReach

are going to abseil from the top of the Forth Rail Bridge to raise funds for the Church of Scotland's social service division known as CrossReach.

Our adventure on the Bridge is on the day after the Church of Scotland General Assembly - Sunday 28th May - and we are looking for your generous support. Your donation could make all the difference to :

  • a young mother suffering from post-natal depression
  • a young man struggling with addiction or
  • a family trying to cope with a relative who has dementia

CrossReach is doing fabulous work in a difficult financial climate, your donation could make all the difference.

Thank  you, John Chalmers, Russell Barr and Peter Bailey

PS    The abseil is organised by the  Rotary Club of South Queensferry who last year raised over £107,000 for good causes which included CrossReach. This year THE THREE FORMERS  hope, with your help to make a big difference to the work of CrossReach
