Pedal for Scotland 12th September 2010. A team from Revive MS will be making the 51 mile journey from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Your support towards this event would be very welcome. Or  alternatively join us for the trip.

This year Revive celebrate their 26th anniversary. The reason for Revive's longevity is the significant demand for their services from the people in Scotland who are victims of this degenerative illness for which there is no cure.  The employees and volunteers within the charity attract clients from all over the country as well as those recommended to attend by the NHS whose resources for those with MS are less specialised.

For many newly diagnosed with MS the only name given by their neurologists is Revive - that little place in Maryhill.  However they are not so little now with increasing numbers looking for the services they provide which are many; counselling, physiotherapy, and reflexology. They also provide alternative therapies and treatment not available on the NHS but of considerable help to those with MS they include aromatherapy, reflexology, oxygen therapy, acupuncture and others too numerous too mention.  Also available are exercise classes, gentle of course, tia chi, yoga, wheelchair exercise groups. These all take place in a normal, friendly and importantly knowledgeable environment. Revive offers a hands on approach to their clients that any organisation would be proud of and which many could learn from.  There is no charge for there services instead donations are invited in line with what people feel able to give. No-one is ever turned away because they cannot afford to make a contribution.
