Story

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles in May Challenge, because I want to change thisTogether, we can create a world where no family has to suffer the impact of the disease.

Back in 2008 my family were giving the news that my Dad had been diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer, he fought a good battle but eventually in November 2011 he passed away, I work as a sales manager in a car dealership and I know of so many really great guys who’s lives were cut short far to early.

Now I am 58 years old I am completely out of shape and currently waiting for an operation on a torn cartilage, but I’ll strap that up tightly and through the memory of my Dad and  all those I knew, I will achieve these 100 mile’s during May.

I would be really grateful if you would support me by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research, who fund breakthrough science to make this mission a reality. Thank you!
