Story
On Sunday morning, having made some comment about shutting the front door to keep warm air in then going on about how expensive it is to heat houses, our 5 year old son Arthur asked what happened if you didn’t have any money.
I tried to explain that for some sadly that was the case and they may be cold and possibly hungry.
Arthur then insisted that before we headed to his rugby practice we should put his home made ‘sweetie shop’ out on our drive to try and make some money to give to ‘the people who might be cold’.
By the time we got home he’d raised £2.70 from passers by who’d kindly dropped some change into his empty butter box- we’ve told him we’ll top it up and donate it to the charity Crisis.
