John Adams is raising money for The Lullaby Trust

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for the Lullaby Trust, a charity that supports families affected by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). I shall be taking part in its Beard for Babies campaign and growing a beard between 1 and 26 June (regular updates will be going on my social media channels!).

Crucially, the charity is also looking to raise awareness of its services among men. the Trust has dsicovered that safer sleeping advice is often only provided to mums via midewives and health visitors. By engaging with dads, it hopes to help reduce the number of SIDS cases.

There is also a personal element ot all this. A few years ago my beautiful neice Lola passed away as a result of SIDS. I don't wish to dwell on this, but I have seen first hand the impact SIDS can have on a family. As a result I passionately believe in the aims and work of the Lullaby Trust.
