When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.

Story

I'm delighted to let you know that I completed the Brussels Marathon on October 14, 2007 at around 4 hours and 30 mins.

I would like to thank everyone who has donated to the Stroke Association and for the fantastic support from my friends, family and my colleagues at Askonas Holt.
