Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm unsure exactly how I have been roped into doing a fire-walk but here I am, raring to go and asking for your help and support! St Ann's Hospice looked after my uncle in his final days; the way they looked after him and my family was incredible... my uncle died around ten years ago, but within that time, St Ann's have helped and supported around 30,000 patients and their families in similar situations. The fact is, it's getting harder for them to keep doing this on such constrained budgets - that's where we come in. Pledge your support today by donating on my page and giving me the push to do this challenge.
This firewalk is a huge challenge for me for three main reasons:
1. I am afraid of fire after an incident as a child making cheese on toast and almost burning off all of my eyebrow hair (please get in touch for the full story)
2. I despise showing my feet to anyone after a now ex-girlfriend informed me they were "the most disgusting part" of my body, and the worst feet since the hobbits' in Lord of the Rings 1, 2 and yes, unfortuntely 3 (9 hours of my life I will never get back)
3. I do not like coal. I received lumps of it on numerous Christmas' after being branded "naughty" by both parents and Father Christmas himself.
So come on!! Support me and the hospice by giving £5 for my left foot and £5 for my right :)
I am ideally looking to raise £640.00 as I've worked out that this would have covered the cost for my uncle's food and drink during his stay at the hospice in Cheadle. Your support and generosity would be greatly appreciated; I know times are tough but please - I cannot stress the importance of your donation, no matter how small.
