In March 2007 I received a call from my wife, she had just been for a check-up with her midwife.  'I think you may need to come and meet me at the hospital', I  left work and on the tube home,  I remember thinking, I hope this isn't going to take too long, I've got football tonight, will I need to cancel it?  Crumbs is this really happening surely the baby's not coming yet.

I walked into the room and saw Clare, this was serious....

24hrs later our daughter Lily Rose was born,  just over 10 weeks early, Clare was incredibly sick.  After 7 long weeks in hospital, Lily Rose came home and is now a cheeky 3 year old full of chat.

In August this year I'm cycling from Lands End (LE) to John O'Groats (JOG) to raise funds for the charity BLISS.

BLISS is a charity that, support babies who are born too soon, too small, too sick.  They provide much needed help and support to the families and carers of  these babies.
