Hi, I'm Joe and on the evening of Friday 19th November I will be sleeping out in my back garden to raise vital funds for the charity Simon on the Streets who work tirelessly to support the homeless and vulnerable people in West Yorkshire. With just myself, some cardboard, an old duvet and a sleeping bag, I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible to help Simon on the Streets to continue offering unlimited emotional and practical support for homeless and vulnerable people to enable them to achieve their goals. All their services are delivered on an outreach basis directly on the streets. They deliver outreach work from the early hours of the morning right through until the evening when many of the vulnerable need that extra support. I'm doing this sleepout as I want to support an individual to achieve their own goals and aspirations whatever they may be.
