Please support us to replace our stolen 7 seater car · 19 November 2019

We are a small charitable organisation who raise funds to help adults with a learning disability with the cost of holidays and equipment which they would otherwise be unable to afford, often providing much needed respite to parents and carers.

Story

Thrive is a day service for adults with a learning disability and we support those who come to us to access many activities both inside and throughout our community.

Sadly one of our 7 seater cars, which was used heavily for transporting our service users to activities, was stolen in mid November. She had a few dents and scrapes and wouldn't have been worth much to whoever took her, but it was certainly worth a great deal to all of us.

We have some amazing staff who kindly offer to use their own cars so no one misses out, but we will be needing to buy a replacement. We would be grateful for any support that can be offered towards the cost of getting another car.

Donations will go through the Windward Foundation which has been set up to help our service users access holidays and specialist equipment they may not otherwise be able to pay for. So please bear us in mind for your next charity event as well!
