We sadly lost our father on April 18th 2016 and this is in his memory. RIP Ali Carr.

I am proud to be raising money for a charity very close to my heart. Alcoholism is ruining lives across Britain and Nacoa are there to support the children of alcoholics (including adult children of alcoholics like myself). It is a real taboo subject and I wish growing up that same support was available to myself when I was younger with an alcoholic Father. Please give as much or as little as you can as I am incredibly proud to be taking part in these events for a small charity that relies on fundraising like this to keep it going.

As well as running 3 half marathons culminating in the Yorkshire Tough Mudder in August, I will be drinking no alcohol at all for the entirety of 2016 (I have already done this so far this year and some of 2015 too.... but never over a year). I stopped drinking due to my own negative experiences with alcohol despite my previous love of a good drink!
