Story
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my page…
Anyone who knows me, or our family, is already fully aware of the enormous and devastating impact this sudden, catastrophic event has on anyone, without warning.
I endeavour to try to raise funds for Stroke Association where I can, because as well as the very many people who have already been directly affected, there are still those who are yet to unfortunately experience such events for themselves in the future, all of whom require the funding of an invaluable charity such as this.
'... When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives'.
This year, I will be attempting to run Newport Marathon (along with a few other lovely people), in order to completely challenge myself on a personal level, and to support Stroke Association in memory of our forever-loved and eternally missed Big Daddy O ❤️
Please help me however you can- every single penny counts, and I am very appreciative in advance of your support.
Thank you so very much,
Jo xx
