Sandra was a beautiful lady and lived in the Southend area for most of her adult life. She sadly passed away in February and we are inviting friends and family to share memories of Sandra on this page and donate to this great cause.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. I would like to share a lovely e-mail I recieved from Southend Mencap;

"I  just wanted to write and express my immense thanks to you for settingup  the Just Giving page in memory of Sandra, who I remember well especially her artistic talent that was always on display at our annual art competition... 

Being  a registered charity, we are becoming more reliant than ever on the generosity of others to help fund our many activities that we provide for children and adults with learning disabilities with the ongoing financial climate that has seen far less funding opportunities for charities such as ourselves to access.

I can confirm that these funds will be put towards one of our projects
providing education and enjoyment to people with learning disabilities...
