Me?! Doing the Great South Run....16km along Southsea in October....it's not going to be easy but I am up for challenge!

I am raising money for Hospiscare who cared for my friend Marie in her final days, and helped her husband Jerry, and her two gorgeous boys Seb and Archie, through that extremely difficult time. 

Hospiscare is a hospice charity, delivering expert end of life care for Exeter, mid and east Devon.

Who knew I would be a runner! 6.5 stone gone and now I have the running bug! Marie was particularly supportive when I spoke of my desire to loose weight and get healthy so I could join in with my family. She never ever once doubted me....

I shall hold my head high and run my socks off to make Marie, Jerry, Seb and Archie proud. I am sure Marie will be 'right behind me all the way' - well that's what Archie tells me :)
