For the past 15+ years my lovely Mum has suffered with this awful disease we call Parkinsons. As a family we have been very lucky as our Mum was diagnosed in its very early stages and we have been able to manage it well.
However the last 18 months have been really tough for Mum, as she as experienced a decline in her health and the ability to do all sorts of activities she used to love and what most people take for granted.
I've secured a charity place in the GNR 19 to help raise money to hopefully find a cure for this horrible disease.
Selfishly I'm hoping to get fit and lose a little weight in the process.
I have roped my fabulous Netball buddies (Carly & Danielle) who are running (well I may have to walk a little of the way) with me. Thank you girls, your support is very much appreciated.
So all we need to do now is ask our family and friends and anybody who knows us to dig deep into your pockets and donate some money for us. As little as you can or as much as you can, all donations are greatly received.
Big thanks in advance
