Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ella was diagnosed with Epilepsy in June 2011 at the age of 4. Epilepsy affects 1 in 200 people and in the majority of cases is controlled by drugs. However, in the case of Childhood Absent Seizures despite medication its effect can hinder development and learning.

Being new not only to open water swimming but also front crawl, as well as road cycling, The London Triathlon Sprint distance is an enormous challenge for me- 750m Swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run! It will also be the first event I have participated in since rollerskating around Thruxton for charity at the age of nine! Knowing that my efforts will help people of all ages with Epilepsy will make it all worthwhile so please donate as much as you can!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
