Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are walking all 51 miles of  the  Coleridge Way this summer, aiming to complete by September 23rd which will be the 3rd anniversary of Joanna's bone marrow transplant. This treatment was life-saving, but with more research, more treatments could be found to save others from undergoing this harsh regime.

Research is the bedrock on which to improve treatments and diagnosis for blood cancer patients. Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is driving smarter and faster diagnosis and inspiring new treatments and care.

We are undertaking this challenge together because, although it was Joanna who was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia, Peter has been with Joanna on the transplant journey and continues by her side on this one too. A blood cancer diagnosis can have a huge impact on family and friends as well as the individual.

So please give generously to this very worthwhile charity. Thank you very much.
