My mum Linda was a hardworking, fun and a fabulous mum. Unfortunately,she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2002 and bravely fought this until 4th September 2003, at just 46 years old. Despite being in pain, she continued to smile and remained positive throughout. I have only fond memories of her and can thank her for my sheer determination in life. I am taking on this challenge in her memory and hope that in doing my bit for cancer research that we will be one step closer to finding a cure. Cancer leaves a void in many lives, lets work at closing the gap.
