Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2011 I am embarking on an 11 day trek across Tanzania to raise money for the International Animal Rescue. This trek is a true challenge for me, as I will be on foot for 7-9 hours per day, and without running water or modern amenities. So please dig deep! I am paying for all of my own expenses, so everything you donate will go straight to the charity. I am aiming to raise £2,000 so your support is greatly needed!

The aim of International Animal Rescue is to come to the aid of suffering animals around the world. Wherever possible, they return rescued animals to their natural environment, but they also provide permanent sanctuary for animals that can no longer survive in the wild. What I really love about this organisation is their commitment to the things that matter most - they focus their efforts on the issues that are truly in need of our attention. This is an amazing charity and very worthy of your generous contributions!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you!!

About the charity

We not only save animals from suffering, we also rehabilitate and release them back into the wild, whilst working to protect their habitats. We provide a safe haven for animals that can no longer fend for themselves. In all that we do, we work to find solutions that benefit both animals and people.
