Story
On Christmas Day 2016 I was involved in an accident in which I fell down a flight of stairs and as a result ended up in hospital. I spent a over a week in a coma and in the weeks that followed had to learn how to do many tasks all over again and with the help of my support system and the amazing workers in Southmead hospital on various wards I was able to be moved to Musgrove and be closer to home. Following my time here I spent time in Deane Barton Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Cotford St Luke (who are aided by Headways) where I received quality care and made many new friends that I still see now. Thanks to them I am where I am now, they helped me to be able to live alone again, to build my self back up, to get back into the work place and most importantly to understand what had happened to me and the effects of what I have experienced. Without the outstanding level of care and support that I received I may not be so lucky to be where I am today.
For those of you that know me well know that this month of no drinking will be a hard one;) So please donate what you can no matter the amount I am extremely grateful for any and all support I will receive.
