Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

My gran was always on the go, if she wasn’t delivering eggs, on holiday, at church or the WRI you would find her in the kitchen baking. To see such an active person go through the stages of Alzheimer’s was very hard but I can’t even begin to imagine what she was going through. We sadly lost her in 2010 but I prefer to remember her before her illness.

The woman in the picture is the woman I want to remember. Her smile, her laugh and she made some pretty darn good highlander shortbread!

This is my way of doing my bit to help others like my gran and their carers so any donations small or large can go to help make a difference.

Thank you
