Hello!

As always with me it is a late decision to go ahead with this because I am very new to open water swimming. Thanks to a few secretive trial runs with my fab sister and husband and some supportive friends from Marple Swimming Club I have decided that I probably won't die and I am going to give it a shot!

I would like to raise some money for EducAid which is a UK based charity that runs 9 free schools in Sierra Leone. They provide education and support for underprivileged and war affected young people. And more recently an increasing number of youngsters that have been affected by the Ebola crisis.

Molly has recently joined a local Rose Queen team (as a 'Rose bud') and they are about to embark upon a year of fundraising for EducAid. I would like to kick it off with a small contribution of my own so if you can take the time to throw a few small ones my way for this dip in Salford Keys (mmmm) we would all be thrilled!!
