Joan was diagnosed with terminal cancer in June and passed away on October 14th. She bravely accepted the situation from the start, keeping her spirits up to the end. She didn't want a big funeral, even if Covid19 had allowed it, but said we should celebrate her life at a later stage.

Our Sue Ryder nurse was a wonderful support through this whole period and their other staff were a great help during the last few weeks. If there is any good to come from this sad situation it would be for donations to go to this fantastic charity so others can have the same level of support at the end of their lives.
