We met through our mutual experience of surviving breast cancer living in the same village. We have become great friends who cycle regularly and enjoy the outdoors. We love cycling and hope that we can raise lots of money for MacMillan Cancer Support through the Easingwold Cycling Festival and Arthur Metcalfe Memorial Ride on 23rd September 2012
 

This annual event is in memory of the late great Arthur Metcalfe, winner of the milk race and competitor in the Tour de France and a local hero in the north east.
