When we decided on the challenge of running two marathons, two weeks apart we knew exactly which charity we would like to raise money for - Myositis UK (after seeing what a big impact Paul's fundraising had on such a small but important charity last year it was an easy decision to make)!   We also knew that we would like to fundraise as a duo (although knowing that Paul, Claire, Ella and the rest of our family and friends will be supporting us in our efforts  all of the way through it will be more like a fundraising crowd).

We are very fortunate to be (relatively) fit and healthy and are lucky to have only known Paul as the fit and healthy running machine that he now is.  Having heard what Paul and his family went through and what other sufferers and their families go through it is really important to continue to raise funds that enable Myositis UK to continue to offer support and it is even more important to raise awareness of the illness.

Paul did an amazing job last year raising over £8,000....so the question is....Can our combined efforts come close?
