Hi !

I have over time tried various types of dancing, so when the opportunity came up to have some fun for Weldmar at learning a new dance...I thought let's do it!

I approached my good friend, Jonathan Thomson to be my partner for the event..he agreed...but little did we know quite what was ahead of us!

So training has begun.....a lesson a week for 12 weeks, learning  our chosen style.We decided against the waltz and cha cha cha...so jive it is...or at least that's what we are working towards!

The Finale is being held at Freshwater Holiday Park,Burton Bradstock....with a possible audience of 400...EEEEKKK!! The audience votes will decide the winners, but their will be a celebrity judging panel, who will give feedback.

Seriously, working as I do as the Children's Support Worker at Weldmar,my aim is to raise as much as I can, so that services can be provided for as many families in Dorset as possible.

My role is supporting children and young people when there has been a diagnosis of a life limiting illness, looking at making memories, assisting with 'goodbyes' and working with the family to create moments with their 'special loved one' that they can hold on to in the future.
