Story
I will be trying to cycle from Rome to Nice in 5 days - that's over 660km and a lot of climbing. The ride is the first of 5 stages which comprise the "Dallaglio Cycle Slam" in aid of Sports Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation.
In its entirety the challenge led by Lawrence Dallaglio is to cycle through the 6 nations from rugby stadium to rugby stadium, starting off at Rome, then onto Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff, Dublin and finally Scotland and to hopefully raise £1m in the process. All the funds raised will be split equally between the two charities, and they will be donating to DebRA, Help for Heroes, Leukaemia Research and the PRA Benevolent Fund.
This is the first time I am attempting to ride anything like this distance - the max I've managed so far has been 200km. I will be cycling along side a variety of sporting celebrities and no doubt semi-professional cyclists, so my main challenge aside from having to finish, is going to be....can I keep up?
My target is to raise £3k, so your help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

PS
For those of you who may not know, DebRa is a charity which helps those with a rare genetic skin blistering condition (skin and internal body linings blister at the slightest knock), Help for Heroes was a charity set up in 2007 to help those wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq and PRA Benevolent Fund is the Professional Rugby Association Fund which provides financial support to those who are forced to retire when seriously injured.
