We are confident that raising these funds will help secure the farm's future. We are asking local people and businesses of Nottingham to help us with donations large and small
The farm:
receives NO direct funding for over 60% of the volunteers we support (80 per week)
gives invaluable respite to the carers and families of volunteers
is a popular visitor centre for families who enjoy the gardens, play area and spending time with our wonderful animals
supports many different education programmes with local schools and colleges
provided educational visits for nearly 1000 local school children and volunteering opportunities for 700+ people from local organisations in 2018
Our public service grant has reduced significantly in recent years. We continue to raise other income and control costs, but this vital community service is expensive, particularly in winter months when visitor numbers drop.
