Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you will be aware of the financial troubles that Woking Hospice are currently facing and the campaign they have been running in the local newpapers to raise money.  They have reached their first target of £600,000 which will enable them to restart their day care services one day per week but they need to continue to raise money to maintain these services and to be able to run them full time again.

I have always wanted to run the London Marathon and I am so excited to have finally been given the opportunity to take part and to also raise money for an amazing charity.  Paul's nan spent her last days at the Sam Beare hospice and was looked after in such a caring and dignified manner and it would be a huge loss if any of their services had to end simply because of lack of funding.  Please help support one of the surprisingly few cancer hospices in Surrey.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and any money that you can spare will be put to fantastic use.

Thank you

Jo xx
