Jo's Burma cycle trip, 25 January 2014
We provide prosthetics and education to help vulnerable child amputees

Story

I will be leaving the kids for 2 weeks (most difficult part!) and cycling intensively for around 11 days. We cover an average of 50 miles a day and cycle around numerous areas of Burma including Yangon, Lake Inle, Shan Highlands, Mandalay, Monywa (by the Irrawaddy River), Bagan and Mount Popa.

I am doing an adapted version of an Exodus Burma by bike tour with a small group of like-minded strangers! I have funded the trip entirely myself and 100% of any money I raise will go directly to the charity of "Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope".

The money essentially helps amputee children in many developing countries. The family on the video are close friends of ours, and the little girl (Polly-Anna) who lost her leg in a horrendous accident involving a bus is in Izzy's (my daughter's) class at school.

Also, I have organised a fundraising coffee morning at my home on Friday 10th January 9:30 - 12:00.

Please, if you could donate even a small amount it will help so much
