Welcome to Jingle All The Way V on the 13th November 2021 for Derian House.
Back in 2012, I decided to try start raising money in memory of my friends son who sadly died at a very early age. I promised myself that each year, I would try to spend some of my personal time to raise money for children who need that extra support.
Over that 9 years, we have cycled and walked miles upon miles in all kinds of weather. During 2020 and due to the restrictions we had raise money using online Play Your Cards Right and Online Music Festivals. But as well as having lots of fun with the events we've we've managed to raise over £100,000 which is amazing. This is due to people digging deep into their pockets and supporting amazing charities.
After completing a few different events, in 2016 we created Jingle All The Way and it has really caught the imagination.
So Ladies, Gents, Boys and Girls welcome to Santas Jingle All The Way V.
Santas Jingle All The Way V will be a 15 (ish) mile sponsored walk going from Chorley to the top of Rivington Pike and back to Chorley dressed in Santa Outfits and what a sight it is to see.
The aim is that we will have a fun filled day, with lots of Ho Ho Ho's, lots of Jingles from all the Santas taking part.
We will be raising money for Derian House again this year and we will be raising as much money as possible, but one of the main objectives is to get as many people as involved as possible and to have fun all day.
It is great to see people helping Make a Difference, SO GET OUT OF BED and GET DRESSED IN RED and be the one that MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
I am sure anyone who has taken part previously, will agree that everyone enjoys the day whatever the challenge has been and more importantly whatever the weather brings.
