It's that time of year again, where we choose a charity that means a lot to us to support through our annual Needles festive family livestream. 

We know it's a tough year for lots of people this year with the soaring cost of living. The cost of having a baby has risen by a third in 2020 while maternity pay has shrunk. Nappies are up 75% this year, formula by £12 a month, alongside everything else. Many families are at breaking point.

Baby banks are fantastic small charities that take donations of preloved and new baby items and get them to parents in need. Having a new baby is gruelling enough even with lots of support around you. No parent should have to worry about whether they can afford to clothe or feed their baby or having nowhere for them to sleep. 

Your donations will help the charity continue their amazing work helping to care for families and babies in need and being part of the village of support every family deserves.
