Event: Reading Half Marathon 2011, on 20 March 2011

Story

As most of you will know I play cricket for Cirencester CC (www.cirencestercricketclub.co.uk).  The club is 169 years old and our pavilion is of the same age, with some updates over time.  However we'd really like to bring this into the 21st century and make it more user friendly for the ever increasing number of users and teams, both senior and junior, male and female.

To do my bit to raise some money I am running the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 20th March and rather than just treat this as part of my pre-season fitness work (I am the fittest 41 year old at the club!) I thought I would raise some funds towards the pavilion redevelopment.  Anything you can give, small or large, would be greatly appreciated and make the miles in training that little bit easier in the knowledge that it is helping improve the club!

Thanks

Jim

About the charity

Cricket has been played on the beautiful ground in Cirencester Park for 178 years. Cirencester CC has undergone a complete transformation during the past 8 years and the final stage of this regeneration is the redevelopment of the historic pavilion to produce a facility for the 21st century.
