Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Around 18 months ago, I started cycling to help my fitness and try to lose a bit of weight. I casually told Mum and Dad that I would like to enter some charity bike rides. Just before Christmas my Mum, who as a youngster was a keen cyclist, passed away. I never knew, but at church she had pledged to be "more charitable". Time to deliver on the 'promise' and try to raise a few pounds for charity. So, Chris and I have entered our first charity ride together with my friend Steve Boon, a seasoned cyclist to help us get round. The event is the http://www.peterborough5x5challenge.org/ and we have selected the 50 mile route to have a go at.
I am not sure what to expect, but will give it my best. If 25 of my friends sponsor me for say £2 that would be absolutely fantastic.
