Story
To be honest, I get a bit fed up with being asked to donate money to charity. However, now that I am the one asking for sponsorship, it has suddenly become very interesting!
For once I am going to do my bit for what I think is a 'very' good cause. The worthy charity is Cancer research uk. Let's face it, if we don't get it, someone we know will. 1 in 3 people in this country will develop cancer during their lifetime.
Now that I have completely depressed you, let me explain what I am going to be doing:
It's the 'Yorkshire' 3 peaks Challenge. Myself and 20 of my work colleagues are planning to walk 25 miles in 1 day with peaks ranging from 100m to 900m. I am not entirely sure what 'eejit' decided that rainy October was the ideal month to do this though. (you know who you are!)
I would really appeciate it if you would donate your spare cash to a good cause. Even a few quid will be greatly appreciated. Pleeeeeeeease!!!
Many thanks for your generosity
