Story

Please support my attempt at running the London Marathon on 13th April 2014 for the UCL Cancer Institute, an organisation associated with ground breaking research and saving lives. NLP has strong ties with UCL having gained consent for the Paul O'Gorman building in which the Institute is located and most recently for the proposed Cancer Informatics Centre.

I am aiming to raise £2000 to assist UCL meet its £1.5m target for equipping the new Informatics Centre. Please support me to complete my 26.2 mile challenge and help UCL crack the code of cancer.

"Cancer Informatics is an essential tool for our mission to be able to deliver personalised cancer care, that is understanding the genetic basis of a patients tumour to inform the best cancer treatment for that specific individual. This is the next key step in beating cancer." Chris Boschoff, Professor of Cancer Medicine and Director of the UCL Cancer Institute
