Story

Fred wants to invite all his friends, neighbours and people he has known through Pensby Running and Cycling Club for a good night out. Fred and his wife Beryl were members of the running club for many years and made some great friends.

As Fred became unable to run, he enjoyed cycling with the Penbsy Runners on Bikes and even did a trip from London to Paris as well as Glasgow to Inverness and the Coast to Coast. Now he appreciates cycling from Thurstaston to the Seaside Cafe in New Brighton each week with his cycling friends, 'The Werthers Originals.

Fred also regained his interest in dancing and learnt many new ballroom skills at classes and tea dances around the Wirral. He still loves dancing but has not had many opportunities to do so in the past two years.

Fred is hosting his own dance night for his 90th Birthday and would like you to join him at a Barn Dance, no skill is required, you just have to listen to the caller and do as you are told!

Flat shoes with covered toes may be a good idea as there will be a great deal of stomping and charging around.

Thanks for supporting Fred's fundraising party if you can and he hopes to see you on the dance floor. and dance with as many ladies as possible!
