The Story so far

In 2003 I began making hand-crafted birthday cards which soon increased to cards for almost every occasion.  I still charge £1 for each one, Christmas cards are a bit cheaper. 😀

Locally I am often referred to as the WaterAid lady!

Yesterday I reached my latest target of £30,000 I can hardly believe it when I started I had £6. It’s all thanks to my wonderful supporters who keep coming back for more cards and to those who donate regularly, I couldn’t have done it without you all.

Now people are asking what my next target will be? I think I’ll make it £31,000 by Christmas 2025! Maybe not that soon 🤣 but we’ll see 😁

This is fantastic news!! Well done! This really is an incredible landmark in your fundraising, and the result of all your effort and commitment, truly wonderful.

I’ve shared the good news with my colleagues and they are all very impressed and asked me to pass their sincere thanks to you, especially our head of fundraising as he really likes these stories where individual supporters such as yourself have been so inspired to take action to bring clean water to those who need it most.

This is a great way to start the year, and to remember all the people across the world whose lives you have helped to change through clean water.
