Story
On the 14th September 2013 I will try & walk 26 miles from Beadnell to Lindisfarne as part of the Alzheimer's Society fundraising trek.
Most of us know someone who has been affected by dementia. The trek is about supporting the society and increasing awareness of the work they do in their aim to improve the quality of life of those affected.
The fundraising target they suggest is £260 as £10/mile though I think I should try & be asking for double that for the last few miles!
For me it will be another chance to walk in a part of the country which is very close to my heart & the fact it is called the Memory Walk is so appropriate.
