Hey Everyone,

We are well aware there are lots of people asking for donations at this moment in time but we would all really appreciate it if you would sponsor us on our Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Whether it's 50p to a few pounds any donations will be highly welcomed!

Us four girls are doing the challenge on 26th June. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk is a very demanding but rewarding walk, which takes in the summits of (694 metres - 2,276 feet), Whernside (736 metres - 2,415 feet) and Ingleborough (723 metres  2,372 feet) all in one circular route. The walk is 24.5 miles (39.2km) long and takes in over 5,000 feet (1,600 metres) of climbing. The walking is over a variety of terrains, and even though the paths have been improved immensely over recent years, certain sections can still be very boggy and energy sapping.

We are all walking in aid of the charity International Service. International Service organisation was set up to combat poverty and oppression. The work takes place in Brazil, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Mali and Palestine. In these countries, International Service works where there is most need and where the work will have the greatest impact for the most disadvantaged groups in society.

As of yet we have been training with a varity of walks around York, many times of which we have got terribly lost, so this walk will definately be a challenge for us all!!
