Story
Thank you for visiting my skydive page for my big leap in aid of Compassion in World Farming!
On Saturday 18th June, I jumped 2 miles from a plane to raise funds for Compassion.
Why did I decide to make this jump?
I saw an opportunity to do something which could make a contribution to changing the lives of tens of millions of hens which are still kept in cages throughout the EU.
Compassion’s impassioned mission is to defend The Big Move away from barren battery cages. Achieving the EU’s commitment to phasing out this appalling and iconic intensive system was one of the biggest farm animal welfare achievements of the 1990s. It is now under threat. Please help me raise funds for the vital work to thwart those countries like Poland who are trying to undermine the ban due to come into force next year.
Please remember: I did my big leap for tens of millions of sentient creatures.
Thank you enormously for any support you can give.
With my sincere good wishes and thanks.
