Myself and my colleagues at Dere Street Homes are taking on the 60 miles challenge, Journey to Africa.

We are hoping to complete a virtual journey from Durham to the Village of Suubi, in Uganda which is 6,000 miles, each one of us walking, cycling, running or rowing, (I will be riding my horse Bob), and we aim to complete 60 miles in 6 weeks, collectively we hope to reach 6,000 miles.

Every penny we raise will go towards supporting the beautiful children of Suubi Village, helping provide a home for abandoned children, medicine, food, education and other basic needs.
