Story

Thanks for checking out my fundraising page...

I am super excited and a little bit scared to be running my first ever half marathon for one of my most favourite charities (and I'm not just saying that because I work there!), Nordoff Robbins.

I have never really run before and do have what family & friends would affectionately refer to as a "funny run"! It's fair to say this running business is all brand new territory! So far so good! :

As an employee of Nordoff Robbins I get to see every day how much of a huge impact music therapy has on some extremely vulnerable children and adults. Music is simply an intervention that can and does help when sometimes nothing else can. I also know that Nordoff Robbins uses every single pound that is donated efficiently and effectively in helping the vulnerable people we work with.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please if you could dig deep and sponsor me, I sincerely promise that me & my funny run will train very hard all summer and run 13.1 miles on 8th September for Nordoff Robbins, the vulnerable people we work with and music lovers everywhere! :)

Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
