The ICS Entrepreneur Scheme and Challenges Worldwide are giving me the fantastic opportunity to volunteer and work in Uganda/Ghana (tbc) with a local volunteer in a Small or Medium Enterprise (SME). When I'm over there we'll be discovering ways the business can become more sustainable and profitable, whilst improving the employability of people in the local community.

My trip will be funded by different organisations including ICS, The Saltire Foundation and the Department for International Development (DFID). Therefore as these are such wonderful charities I am doing some fundraising so the organisations can continue to make an impact.

As part of my fundraising I will be fasting for 24 hours. Although this will be difficult going 24 hours without food is something which people all over world are forced to do every day.
