••Aloha••
Firstly - can I just say Macmillan are FABULOUS. As well as all the work they do supporting people with cancer; they also provide amazing opportunities for ordinary people (like you & me) to do incredible, challenging things. After the sudden death of my eldest son in 2009 I have suffered from severe depression which is always miserable and often debilitating. This unbelievable opportunity is providing me with a really positive focus in my life. I think it goes without saying I'm terrified; but I'm also training hard (for me!), trying to stay as healthy as possible and meeting some amazing, motivating people. I will still need a spectacular miracle to get round the course within the strict 17 hour cut-off time and another one to hit my fundraising target. So any help (£2, £5, £10, £20...) makes a tremendous difference and will be most gratefully received.

100% of ALL donations will go to Macmillan - I will cover all my equipment, training, travel and race expenses in full including my race registration fee.
