Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This page is for people to donate money for knitted items (eg Chickyboos, Pete The Ducks, Football Mascots).
I was diagnosed with Leukaemia in February 2008 at the age of 27. I have had 2 years and 2 months of chemotherapy and have been in remission for 2 years. The Annette Fox Leukaemia Research Fund helped to refurbish Ward 7 at BRI (where I was treated) to provide individual rooms for patients and update the Day Case Unit. They also fund an amazing aromatherapist who provides complementary therapy treatment for the patients. I have benefited first hand from what this charity does so they really do make a huge difference.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you!!! :)
PS Thanks also to Madge and my mum for all their hard work with the knitting! xx
